Bryant Edgar Foster, born in New Mexico on July 25, 1891, served with the 89th Division, 314th Ammunition Train, during World War I. His scrapbook includes photographs, some post cards, paper currency, orders, and other service-related paperwork. The scrapbook pages were digitized to preserve the context of the photographs and other items, and then the photographs were removed from the pages and placed in archival enclosures to enhance their preservation. Descriptions and captions for each page of the scrapbook may be found in the Guide to the Papers of Bryant Edgar Foster at "http://lib.colostate.edu/archives/findingaids/manuscripts/mbef.html".
