Title
Fraser River Basin phase I, feasibility study : final report
This study involved the formulation and evaluation of alternative water management plans for the Fraser Valley in Colorado. This report documents the findings of the 21-month study. The study was initiated to identify and examine potential ground and surface water resource development projects in the Fraser River Basin, to examine projected in-basin needs and develop alternative plans that will meet those needs, and to optimize existing projects that also utilize the basin's water resources. This Phase I study identifies the cost, yield, and technical feasibility of the studies alternatives and makes recommendations for subsequent, or Phase II, investigations. The Phase I study is a precursor to a full feasibility study of the recommended alternative and is designed to identify the conceptual framework of how plan elements should be combined to meet the identified needs.
